The University Of Hargeisa is the largest and leading chartered public University in the Republic Of Somaliland and the largest University as a whole in the Republic of Somaliland. Since it’s founding in 1998 the University Of Hargeisa has worked to cultivate skill in academia, it has produced high performing entrepreneurs, soldiers, presidents, ministers, doctors, architects, lawyers, humanitarian workers, economists, mathematicians, teachers. The University Of Hargeisa has always represented a beacon of hope for the Republic Of Somaliland, were the citizens of this country seek to enlighten their minds after a dark civil war. The University Of Hargeisa has the vision to “become a leading international center of educational excellence, which meets the nation’s immediate and long term goals for reconstruction and development” notice the last two components of our vision is reconstruction & development, this country has been through so much and as history will attest to it is much more difficult to reconstruct a country ravaged by war.
