Position Summary
WE-INVEST is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Branch Manager to lead and oversee the operations of its Hargeisa branch. The Branch Manager will be responsible for managing the branch team, driving business growth, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service, and upholding the organization’s values and goals. This role requires a results-driven leader with strong financial, managerial, and communication skills, and a passion for women’s economic empowerment.

Key Responsibilities

1. ·         Oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
2. ·         Lead, mentor, and supervise branch staff to achieve individual and team performance targets.
3. ·         Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and financial regulations.
4. ·         Monitor loan portfolios, manage risks, and ensure timely collection of repayments.
5. ·         Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and the community to promote WE-INVEST services.
6. ·         Identify growth opportunities and strategies to expand outreach and client base.
7. ·         Prepare and submit regular performance, financial, and operational reports to senior management.
8. ·         Represent the institution at local events, community meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
9. ·         Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable branch culture aligned with WE-INVEST’s mission.

Skills and qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in branch management, financial services, microfinance, or a related field.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of lending practices and risk management.
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet targets.
Familiarity with the local context of Hargeisa and surrounding areas is highly desirable.
Fluent in Somali and English (spoken and written).
Competent in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field is an advantage.
