Candlelight
Overview
Candlelight is a local, non-governmental, non-profit making, developmental organization dedicated to the improvement of the quality of life of the Somaliland community through the provision of appropriate education, promotion of basic health care, environmental conservation, and the creation of employment through viable income generating activities
In addition to these, humanitarian interventions during emergencies are carried out as need arises
The genesis of Candlelight dates back to 1995 and even since the organization has been working in above sectors and its interventions reaching both urban and rural under-served population
Candlelight has a wide presence in most parts of Somaliland with on-going projects aimed at improving the livelihoods of target communities.
