English speaking Intern- Office Admin and Sales Role at Ambitious Real Estate and
Construction Startup
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and post engaging content on social media platforms.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
• Handle sales administration and process offers for new customers.
• Collect payments for projects and construction services, ensuring proper documentation and progress tracking.
• Maintain and progress customer files efficiently.
• Generate weekly office and financial performance reports.
• Record and manage meeting minutes as required.
• Gather performance reports from key staff and business units, compiling them into accessible Excel reports as directed by management.
• Create detailed Excel and other reports based on management requests.
• Collect, qualify, and manage sales leads.
• Answer phone calls, register leads, schedule meetings, and welcome visitors with a professional attitude.
• Perform general administrative duties, such as filing, scanning, and typing documents.
• Ensure the office is well-stocked with supplies, including stationery and refreshments.
• Monitor and supervise office cleaning standards.
• Support the team with organizational and communication tasks.
• Maintain equipment by scheduling preventive maintenance and managing repairs.
• Be willing to be trained into management
• Accept the responsibilities of office admin
• Or any other tasks as directed by management.
Skills and qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
1. University degree or equivalent education required.
2. No prior experience necessary—comprehensive training will be provided.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
4. Strong verbal and written Somali skills
5. Ability to speak, read and write in English
